Do not take this lightly. I almost died from a very similar scenario. Scratch/staph infection/bloodstream/borderline septic when I got to the ER. The doctors told me I was within hours of dying. A week in the hospital and a bunch of IV's later I was OK.

Thanks guys, swelling is finally going down (I spent the weekend on my back taking my meds) and go back to the doc tomorrow.

I wish that I had checked this over the weekend, but knew I would stay on & try and get some other work done instead of keeping my leg raised.

Be careful here...staph is nothing to mess with. Ask Kevin!

I thought mine was a spyder bite also. Four days and twelve thousand dollars later.........

Thanks, toes no longer blue, cankles are almost gone, but still on meds & resting the leg:D

I always wanted to stay in a place that cost $3,000 per day...but a hospital is not the place!

You know what this means........the Dr. maaayyy have been right. Butt on the couch (or chair) leg in the air..NO alcohol, I'll take care of that for ya. Did the Dr. mention joggin' may be out :>)
