				AR 15 Pistol

In reading about the updates to the Form 4473, I learned that apparently an AR 15 pistol exists. This has me intrigued. Is it possible to build one without the buffer?

Yep, some of the bigger AR manufacturers even offer them (Bushmaster, etc.). Just don't give in to the temptation to put a stock on one (creating a SBR). That is a big-time federal offense.

The only official AR-15 pistol I have seen still had the buffer tube sticking out the back. That just leaves it ugly looking.

Well, I bought a lower receiver today. Paid $181.50 out the door. I'll have to go back tomorrow to pick it up. I'd heard rumors that a big crowd was anticipated at the gun show, a friend and I showed up an hour early and waited in the 20 degree weather. We were the first ones there. The show opened at 9:00 and I left around 10:00. All of the lowers were sold out by the time I left. When I went back to my truck, I was blocked in. Both parking lots were full and people had taken to parking on the street up to a mile away. It took me ten minutes to find a way out that I could fit the truck through. Tomorrow morning I will get in and out as quick as possible. My friend headed over to Farm & Fleet after the show as they are having a sale on .223. I already bought the max allowed yesterday. He just texted me that he was giving up and going home. Apparently the Deer & Turkey Classic (a hunting show) is going on at the Interstate Center near Farm & Fleet, and traffic is backed up all the on to the Interstate (more than a mile). This is REALLY unusual for Bloomington.
