Tech/chemical engineer types--jobs in Michigan
For those of you out there looking for a job, you may want to look into Hemlock Semi-Conductor in Hemlock, Michigan.
They are part of DOW chemical, based in Midland but they are growing like crazy right now. They produce most of the world's silicon. I'm not up on how they do it but those of you in the business would. I don't have any inside connections but with the growth they are experiencing they may be looking for new folks. It may be a long shot but what the heck? I only take care of the vending on the site but I would be glad to help if I can. http://www.hscpoly.com/content/hsc_job/job_postings.aspx

No, not Jeff Daniels but I see a lot of potential for folks that are schooled in that type of production. The sirte has grown 3 fold in the last 2 years.
I can tell you, they buy ALOT of snacks.
