Why even bother to travel to Mexico? Apparently you can even experience it right from the comfort of your own couch.

That's because the only thing there is to do in Windsor is drink and gamble...

Spring break two years ago myself and a few friends went to Arizona for a week. We were part of a 'research' group from my university on a sponsored trip, so the plane tickets, rental cars, and hotels were all paid for. We did a day at Motorola's labs and another at Intel's R&D, and after that we hit up the grand canyon and some little side trips here and there. It was pretty awesome, mainly because I spent absolutely none of my own money except for money on booze, which we hit pretty hard the last night before the flight home.

I didn't stop drinking till about 5:30 AM and our flight out was at 7AM. I was still smashed when we got to the airport and passed out once on the plane, only to wake up to the worst hangover ever. (pressurized cabin + light sensitivity +migraine headache = world of pain)

All in all, my point is- theres a ton of placed to go and have fun inside the United States that cost less and aren't nearly as dangerous as Mexico.

Mexico is one of the coolest places on the planet. and right next door! it is super sucky that it is a lawless hellhole. i remember my friends hopping a train to copper canyon to ride mountian bikes....camping, hiking, biking...boozing...they had so much fun. my favorite bass fishing lake is down there. well it got over netted by the locals, and the fishing company moved lakes. i bet $$ the company went belly up. my brother and i caught hundreds of huge bass over a 5 day period. one of my most memorable trips.

i there is a company trip to check out some metal panels being fabricated over there. i was going to beg to get the travel time. NEVERMIND!

Vash we fished Lake El Salto this past November down there. Amazing place but absolutely lousy with nets. Total shame. Cought nothing smaller than about 5lbs and some as big as 7 1/2. Probably the most fun i had down there. Guide was braking out the mexican beer at 9am but we held off till noonish. we fished little back areas of that lake that were about as picturesque as it gets. incredible.

However i have never seen a more lawless place than mexico. nobody is in charge down there. unreal. my son will never go there without me until he is an adult. and for now he ain't going there period. not a chance in hell i'd ever take a woman there.

This is the guy i shared boat with at El Salto....
