i dont know how i feel; my real estate lady gave her client list to her son.....

......and he is a brand new financial consultant. he just called me, (cold call?) and introduced himself. then said, "i am ________'s son". he told me who he works for, and told me that he has openings next week to meet me to discuss his services.

should i call my agent? or let it go? she is a cool lady. super cool, but i am surprised that she would cough up her contacts. maybe i should let it go. the economy blows and everyone is fighting for life...

Your real estate agent gave your number to her son who is in the financial services business so he could cold call you.

Agreed, unprofessional.

I've had those types of situations but I was always asked if it would be OK is so and so calls.

If you think she's cool and not overly bothered by it let it go.

I would mention to her that what she did was not cool then drop it.

check with her first, maybe her son didn't get the contacts from her, but just happened to come across her adress book in on her computer and mailed it to himself or someting

I'd make sure she knew how unprofessional it was, then I'd find a new real estate lady. That shows a significant lack of integrity, which seems common for realtors (sorry Rob

). What other personal information is she disclosing about you? Would she honestly represent YOUR best interest while brokering a deal? Realtors are dime a dozen right now, and HUNGRY.
