This says it best, where the money goes. I know Bill Warner, and anyone who knows him can tell you, it is the cars that fires him up. I have had close family & friends who have benefited directly from Hospice. I was a vollunteer at the show until I just couldn't make the time commitment anymore and $50 is a small price for the benefit that others get, plus, there are cars there that you will never see anywhere else. It will cost you $150 at Pebble Beach, $175 the day of the show.

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Foundation, Inc. is classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code and is also a 501(c)(3) organization. Copies of this information are available on request from the Foundation?s offices in Jacksonville, Florida.

For the past eleven years, The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has donated a portion of its proceeds to several very deserving organizations in the Jacksonville/North Florida area. These organizations are renowned for their efforts and are a vital part of the fabric that makes up our community.

Community Hospice of Northeast Florida
Over $1,000,000! Since its creation eleven years ago, The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has raised over $1.5 million for this organization. Community Hospice cares for hundreds of terminally ill children and adults in North Florida each year regardless of their ability to pay. The compassionate care provided by their exceptionally dedicated doctors and nurses is vital for the terminally ill individual and greatly appreciated by their families. All net proceeds raised through The Amelia have gone - not toward administrative or overhead expenses - but directly to making those with a terminal diagnosis more comfortable.

The Spina Bifida Association of Florida at Jacksonville (SBAJ)
The Spina Bifida Association of Jacksonville is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the disease spina bifida and its affects. Its membership is made up of persons with spina bifida, area parents, medical specialists and others interested in helping the persons with this birth defect lead a full and rewarding life. Many children are born every year in the United States with this crippling, sometimes fatal condition, which damages the spine and the nervous system. Persons with this disease can live full, productive lives, but face numerous challenges. SBAJ was founded to assist and support these individuals.

Great pics, thanks.

What's the story on that powder blue bubble car?

I used to have a model of that as a kid, and seem to recall it was a "Big Daddy Roth" custom made for some film.
