Wife and stedtrs went on a cruise to Mexico. She stepped onto the outside deck,...
... which was wet, slipped, fell and now has a pulled muscle in her back and a mild concussion. And six more days before they return home.
She did say the ship's doctor was very nice and attentive.

Uhmmmm....let's see. Jones Act? Seriaki seaman case? Were they under tug? Tow? International waters? Dayum I hated admiralty. IIRC passengers on a cruise ship can sue in the state where the ship departed although I think there are choice of law clauses in the passenger contract that require it to be in Florida in most cases.
Actually, they were in sight of the dock...had just pulled away. And it was raining. Doubt there's much there. Glad they're taking care of her. I just know she's miserable.
