More Good Cop Bad Cop?
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/032609dnmetcopstop.3e9c080.html
Guy who got pulled over is a bit obnoxious at first but does calm down but the officer certainly drags his lecture out way longer than he needs to. |
What happened to cops helping people run stoplights to get to the hospital?
I imagine this cop is off the force in few days. |
How in the fk can a cop who's been told by the hospital staff that the guys mother is dying be such an ass?
He didn't "blow the red light". He stopped first. What a douche. |
I posted this in PARF. I figured it would get testy.
About all i can say, is they're "lucky" they didn't get freakin' Tazered by da man. I'm actually half shocked that the cop didn't taze the woman as she ignored him to run to be at her mother's bedside. He probably didn't have one is all. Bet he would have if he did. Then making the guy stand there while he strokes his big douche control freak ego writing him a ticket. What a country. |
police officer was being a dick. man stopped was in a terrible situation. he was however, a dope.
if it was my mother though i guess that i would be a dope too, i would have explained the situation and given him my license and told him to shoot me in the back as i went into the hospital. |
That's when the tazer comes out. As i said, it's probably fortunate that he didn't have one. :-/

"It had been about 13 minutes.
Moats and Collinsworth’s father went into the hospital, where they found Collinsworth had died, with her daughter at her side." That's pretty wrong. Probably not a coincidence that they were black and the cop chose to pull his gun. Hopefully the racist SOB loses his job over this, it makes the good cops look bad. |
I think what I find most disturbing is the officers 1st comment.
You spot a vehicle already running with hazards on at night and follow it into an ER parking lot. I would expect the 1st thing to be "are you OK?, do you have a medical emergency?" The entire incident very likely proceeds in a completely different direction. |
similar incident..
as he blabbered on about this and that .. I started walking toward the ER.. where are you going..? inside... I'm writing you a ticket.. fine..leave it on the seat. he did..I paid it. Rika |
Bully in a uniform.

A medical emergency does NOT give anyone the right to break traffic laws and drive recklessly. That is why we have emergency vehicles people.
|
Officer was begging for an asskicking. BEGGING. Tremendous restraint shown by the man who was stopped.

Thanks, dad. |

FWIW it does not appear that Mr Moats was driving recklessly, in fact it appears he showed tremendous restraint. I have no doubt that officer would have written him for everything that he could have. |

But then again what do I know. I ignore red turn arrows and will treat stoplights as stop-signs late at night when there is no traffic. I guess I am just reckless. |
And don't forget the bikes. When I'm the only one at a red light that runs on ground sensors, I don't weigh enough to trip the light. I go through when it's safe to do so.
