Killing - Rest Home residents

If I missed the thread on this, sorry.

North Carolina gunman walks into a nursing home and randomly begins shooting elderly residents.

911 called.

A Deputy (alone) responds.

Here is where I raise a toast to this man (deputy). Without hesitating, or knowing the complete picture/situation, he walks in, locates the shooter and takes him down.

Had this been in a more urban setting I can only imagine the scene;
news choppers circling overhead, SWAT teams in full body armor huddled near the doors ...awaiting ...orders?? Police trying to determine by phone from those inside; Who? How many? Where?


One man alone, can make a difference. I salute you sir.

At Columbine High School they had three SWAT teams coordinating radios and tactics as students bled to death..

No matter how terrible those situations may be - odds are you are not facing the PLO..

I guess no one told this guy he was supposed to wait and take a report after the fact.

At the deaded final pantera show it ended the same way.........one cop one shot situation ended.

And let's not forget, the shooter shot him at least twice in the leg and he still sticks around to get a good shot off. That man is the true definition of hero, unlike some others we hear about.
