Holy cow! $2900 sure goes a long way these days!

1998 M900 Monster - 3300 miles! Not a scratch. Why yes, that is my garage.

Congrats. Sounds like a great buy. Anyone hear of a similar deal here in SoCal, let me know. Keep the shiny side up.

There are some screaming deals out there now. I have my eye on a 2008 BMW 1200GS Adventure with very low miles for $6k under what the guy must have paid for it.

I've been shopping for a 1200GS also, from '05 up. Found a dozen on ADV alone. Just have to decide which one to pull the trigger on.

Welcome to the club. What is it with this Porsche/Ducati attraction? There sure seem to be a lot of us.

Buy mine. It's well-farkled.

I may or may not keep it. I wasn't really in the market, but the price was just too good to pass up based on the miles and condition plus it was just down the street.

My wife bought a Kawasaki K750s a while back just for putting around on. Neither one of us has riden it very much. We may sell the Kawasaki and keep the Duc. I never stop and stare and the Kawasaki, but could gaze at the Duc all day long.

What can I expect to pay for a valve adjustment on the 900? I think my wife is in love with an Italian.

I did my first one on my '93 900 SS this winter. Way easier than on a 911. I would call it a two beer job, at the most. The only bad part is, if they actually need adjustment, you have to buy shims - there are no adjustment screws.

I paid 800 to have my 750ss adjusted, thoroughly checked out and new timing belts. I learned to do it myself after that bs. BTW, anyone want to buy an 01 750 trackbike converted back for street use ? C'mon, my '44 wants it out of the garage (she's a little territorial)

Hey... I just paid what he was asking! He had it for sale last year and had no calls. Seems he just bought a Mustang project car and wanted the garage space asap. I was happy to help. What do you think it's worth?
