Great opportunity in the OC

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bfs/1107628409.html

"Chance of a lifetime. You cover my rent, I give you full run of a complete sheet metal/ welding/ machine shop. Over 100K in equipment.
Short list: 10 ga x 120" shear, 50 ton press break, 10' hand break, 4' finger break, Mig welders, Tig welders, polishing lathe, buffers,
grinders, surface grinders, Bridgeport mill, 2 lathes, Sanders, shapers, beaders, Heavy racks, forklft (5,000#) flangers, blacksmith station,
spot welders, paint booth, engine rebuild area, too much more to list. 24 hr video survailance and alarm. 3phase 220, 440, single phase 220 and 110
office, DSL, zoned heavy mfg. This is not a joke. If you are a welder, car restoration guy, sheet metal contractor, roofer, or want to be in business without risking your lifes savings
this is your chance. Rent month to month ok. "

All but the "roofer" part made sense to me. Alas, who has any work these days. Obviously not this guy.

I'd make it 7 member club, each ponies up $500/month to work on their car/project with expert supervision and tools.

Damn, if the paint booth will fit a car, that's a biggie right there. And a fork lift? cool.

Didn't think of that, but this shop is kinda overkill for sheet metal.

Agree..a Bridgeport doesn't have much use for a roofing biz.. This guy is just trying to get his rent covered by any means

Garage
Geez, I'd love to buy into that. I can even provide security in off hours to help defray my costs...

Bob (CL poster) said they have done everything there from old Fords to mosque domes. Must be quite a place.
