Any Battlefield Gamers Out There?
Just wondering if anyone plays Battlefield 1942 or Heroes.
I have noticed that some of the player names match some of the names on this forum. Probably just chalk it up to chance ... but thought that I would ask. Also a lot of the players are older dudes like ourselves.

I used to play 1942, DC, and BF2 quite a bit, but haven't in probably a year or so.

I loved that game and need to get it out again. We'd have a LAN party once a month and play all day.

Heroes is pretty cool. I received my beta key to try it out and provide feedback. So far so good.

I pretty much like all things WWII. Used to play MOH and Call of Duty too. But now the games are so advanced that I would have to upgrade my computer to play them - my workstation is 4 years old and blazing fast but the graphics card is nearly obsolete when it comes to gaming.
BF 1943 looks like it is going to be very cool.

I've played all the Battlefield games up to the 2048 (?) game. Love WWII and 'Nam. BF 2 was pretty good. I think my favourite was the 'Nam game for the awesome soundtrack.
it's been a while though. I wanted to stary playing again once I got the 47 inch HD tv set up as a secondary monitor, but those plans were quickly squashed by new family taking over the tv...
