Actually, to a very lesser extent Honda.

I priced a used 1st gen S2000 just for kicks (supposedly the model to get, BTW). YEOW!

This, though, was three or four years ago. Don't know what they are now.

But the S2000 is on a short list. So is the 1st gen M3 and an R5 Turbo.

All I know is thank gawd I have my 911 now with all its work done. To be honest, these days I couldn't afford to do that car again in this crap-hole economy. :(

I swear, the only deal out there in performance two-doors is the Miata. Why not? Mazda built -- what -- a billion of them or something. :D

Buy one NOW. The beater E30 M3s seems to be going for $10k, with decent drivers priced at $15-20k. Really nice ones are $20k+. If you find one cheap, buy it. I don't know why, but values have exploded over the last few years. I remember 3-4 years ago when $7500 would buy you a nice driver. They're sweet cars, but quickly headed out of my price range.

I wouldn't kick an S2000 out of bed either.;)

In regards to the CTS talk in this thread, I present:

A CTS with a wing, a first for me to see, looks factory.
