Happy Easter with German Humor?
It seems to be a fairly popular belief that the Germans don't have a sense of humor. Well I beg to differ...
My wife got back from Austria a few weeks ago and bought back a bag of German Easter candy for my boys. Its just a bag of gummy Haribo 'Ostermix' and has a nice bag with pictures along the lines of typical Easter themes, bunnies, fluffly chicks, Easter eggs, etc. The candy is pretty much what you'd expect for the most part, gummy and marshmallow shapes of bunnies and chicks. Hold on a minute, what are these (at the bottom of the picture)...  ...FRIED EGGS! And the Germans have no sense of humor?
