Kinda what I'm thinking. To most, they would barely be above scrap value (consindering the cost to make one airworthy/legal). Just check out all of the hardware in my backyard (Tucson) that is wasting away:

A privately-owned MIG flies out of Burbank Airport now and then. It really shows what kind of fun a lot of money can get a person.

I wonder how long it takes the pilot to fly to Vegas? Does he (or she) have to obey airspeed laws?

There is a local guy who owns a gun shop who use to have one, not sure if he still does, but he kept where a friend use store his plane.

There is also a business that takes you up in combat jets for simulated dog fights
