Cali proposes to ban black cars?
Tell me this is some sick joke.
 Just heard on the radio, California Clean Air Commission wants to ban black autos because they absorb heat and the A/C uses too much energy!! Madness I say!!

OTOH, when I used to travel a lot to Israel, one thing that stood out was the preponderance of white or light colored cars there.

I like WHITE 911's they look great in that Colour...so do RR's and F150's funny I have or had one of each in that colour.

I guess we better go back to white wall tires also. After all a hot tire gets soft and sticky and that adds to more work on the engine which adds to fuel consumption which....bla bla bla.
This mind set is the reason why I left CARB after I got my engineering degree.
