Proud papa...waiting

Well im just sitting here in the hospital in orange county waiting for the arrival of my new daughter Emma. Got bored so thought I would kill some time and type on the iPhone.
Pitocin drip is on and my lady is waiting for the contactions to come.
This is my first child so I am a bit nervous. It is her second.
What else... like I said I am a bit bored at the moment.

Joe - it was a year ago tomorrow that I was going through the same thing with my wife and son Alexander. They tried to induce, and we fretted for 12+ hrs until they decided a C-section was necessary for baby's health. It was very unnerving, but April 16, 2008 was the best day of my life...

...today or tomorrow will be your best day too! All the the best to you, mama and bady.

Keep us posted on the progress.

We haven't talked on a while. Congrads on yours! We got here at 7 this morning. Nurse and staff have been nothing but nice.
Lady in the room next to us did scare me a bit. It went from a sexual scream(don't know how else to discribe) to like a sound a person makes
In the worst pain.
Her baby came unexpected. She was done on 20 minutes! I'm not sure how ours will be. I'm just sitting bedside while
Suray rest a bit.

Yeah...long time not type/talk.

I love my wife that much more after what she went through with our son. Remember to kiss the wife and tell here she's beautiful.

I'm starting to get it. I can't imagine it getting better. Can't wait tohold her.
They just adminatered the epidural so now we wait. Suray is taking a nap. She is being a trooper I think. I don't have much experience on the subject.

Twins! Wow! I think I'm done. Suray has an 8 year old daughter so I am content with that.

Just an update. Baby came at 5:46PM (Ca time) and she weights 7#15oz. We named her Emma. I wanted to post a few pics but can't do it with iPhone on pelican.
I concider myself a tough person but when I saw that child I lost it. Everything they say is true.
Suray was a such a trooper. I have never seen that much strength in a person during so much pain.
thanks for keeping me company during it and listening. I know all you dads with kids get it. And if you forgot for some reason, I just reminded you.
Like I said the proud dad will post some
Pics when I get to a computer. We check out on Friday.
Also I have to add that the staff was awsome... Although I have nothing else to compare it too. Goodnige and don't for get to kiss those kids goodnite because I will look at my daughter and say what a lucky man I am.

It was a rough night in the hospital. She was up every couple of hours either hungry or uncomfortable. Emma first dirty diaper didn't happen till this morning. Normal I hear. Then it was like the flood gates opened.
She has been well mannered since then. Suray and I have been taking breaks onbetween by there is so much to do.
Test and shots for everything. Lots of hospital and legal governent paperwork. It was hard to take a break. We had told the family if they can give us some space today.
Last night turned into a party in the room for a minute and suary was not happy. My brother came by with bottles of Dom and some friends. We already had my parents and other family there. More than half were smokers so the smell resonated thru the room. I would not have minded if it was cause for another type of xelebratuon but Surat and I were exhausted. I coached and she delivered. Anyway that only lasted for about 40 till I kicked everyone out. That's why we were alone today. Brother wants to hve a Bbq at my house this weekend.
I was trying to explain that it would be too much but he doesn't get it. Only now I get it. What was that other thread about Brother I have seen the light.
Anyway that's the update for now. I will post some pics when I get home.
Emma is beutiful! She is a "hapa". Part Japanese, Italian, and Chilean.
