Shipping wheels

I have to ship a couple of wheels. They still have the tires on them and I sold them as such. I am having a tough time finding boxes to fit them.
The diameter is 25 inches and the width is 10 inches. For those of you who sell on a regular basis, can you tell me where you get your boxes?

I plan on sending them through USPS.

Thanks

When I bought a set of Fuchs they were shipped with the old tires still on for protection, and they were covered on both sides with round pieces of cardboard, and heavily taped. No boxes.

Charlie,
Were those sent via USPS, UPS, Fedex?

When I ordered a tire/wheel combo from TireRack, that is how they were shipped.

I know you said complete so this wont help but if someone wants to ship just rims, go to a local wheel shop that sells aftermarket rims and you will find all the free boxes you want by the dumpster.

BTW,

You may want to ship them as pairs, not 4 individual.

Harder to lose 1 and they may get manhandled less due to bulk.

I sent mine zip tied 2x2 and wrapped them in that plastic film so that you can roll them around without getting dirty... Works fine ! Shippers had no problem with that !
