tried it a couple of years ago with a hot air popcorn popper. worked pretty well for a no money invested trial.
there are some very nice but expensive options out there besides the popper. |

I throw the green beans in a stainless steel container and blast them for about 6 minutes with the hot air (paint stripper) gun. Stop when they are dark brown. A beautiful roast.
Leave them about 4 days before using them. Beans are best between 4 and 10 days old (after roasting.) |
