If you just look at it from a physiologic point of view, the dog is more likely to move its bowels after walking a bit, which makes it less likely for them to go in my yard before we go.

Irresponsible dog owners disturb me and they are a dime a dozen.

I think the lady got the message. I also think she was pointing out that she was trying to be a responsible dog owner.

As for me, I used to be Dennis the menace. Now I'm Mr Wilson. My parents couldn't get along woth the next door neighbor for years. She could be crotchety, but I always shoveled her driveway, and made anb effort to say hello. Eventually we all became good neighbors.

There are ways in which we can communicate where we can aknowledge other peoples efforts while making reasonable requests. It isn't the lady or the dog that are the problem.

Grant them being, and see how it feels.

While she reaches down to pick it up, the second dog does the same.

I opened my window and asked that she please dot let her dogs poop in my yard. She either didn't hear me or ignored me so I repeated it again in the same quite manner in which she replied that she was picking it up. There are kids that play in my yard and I don't want dogs parked here. She again said she picks it up. I state the MA dog parking section that states a $50 fine. She says to call the cops. What a B! Good thing I woke in a good mood this morning otherwise those dogs and the woman would have bed a bit for the worse.

Last week I watched this fat lazy (I know his house up the street) walk not only his dog on an extended leash but his fat arse right through the middle of a neighbors yard, letting the dog run and chase sticks over my neighbors new grass. This moron just came from the ball park why let his dog rip up someones grass.

What is wrong with people (dog owners this time) respecting other peoples yards and property?
hey, whats the problem, at least she picked it up. thats more than i got when i lived in a subdivision. this lady would walk her dog and let it dump right in front of my mail box! nothing like having to sidestep to get your mail. then my neighbor would let his dog out, it would run to MY back yard and dump one then go back. and at the time i had a 5 year old. i started throwing it back over the fence to his bcak yard.
i went as far as putting moth balls along the road to keep the dogs out. the lady across the street called the cops on me! it was a female cop that came. she told me that if i did not pick them up, she would write me a ticket. i dont remember what she said, but it was based on her personal opion, not on any law.

now i live in a "country" atmesphere. more dogs than i know what to do with. i have a big window that looks out into the woods, but it seems like all the dogs like to dump there. so i am sitting in my chair and get to watch as they squeeze one off in my yard. the neighbor is letting me keeo 2 horses on her property for free, so what can i say.

As far as the kids, lots of different animals crap on lawns across the world every day. Birds, squirrels, worms, crickets, bees, rats, raccoons, skunks, cats, dogs, you name it. All of 'em crap on people's lawns and most of the time you probably don't even know it. Your kids still play on that grass right?

And I'm sorry, but dog **** causes blindness? Maybe if you rub it IN THEIR EYES...

So a little kid playing knows not to rub the **** they just fell in into there eyes?
They accidentally put their hands in it dont realise...you know the situation.
We had one incident at primary school, kid comes in with it on their feet, sits down for storytime and before you know it, **** everywhere.

Ahh right, dog **** a fertiliser? Not when its just been crapped on my lawn.
Maybe 12 months after it has been properly placed in an enzyme digestion unit.

Now you are just being stupid. Surely, you understand the difference between a car and a lawn?

What are you, 4 years old??

OMG, an entire class was blinded by dog poop? Why didn't I see this on national television?

Come on! Obviously I wasn't being serious. I was trying to point out that it's my property. To let your dog do what it wants on someones property isn't right no mater what that property is (Porsche, House, Yard). A dog owner can control their dog; I used to. If you know your dog is prone to do it's business along the way, then keep it on a short leash off people's property until you get to an area that's not a maintained yard. It isn't that hard to do.

I found out the other day that my wife saw this same woman let her dogs tromp through and drop gifts in my bulb garden at the end of my fence. They broke several of my flowers.
