BIG BIG lizard in my yard this morning...w/pics
Nice sunny Saturday morning here. I go out get a haircut and I'm pulling in the driveway and.....what-the-hell-is-that!!!....a 4' LIZARD in my yard!!!!

I call my wife in the house and tell her DON'T come out and get the mail. I hang up and call 9-1-1. They ask me if its a alligator as we live 1/2 block off the river and they will stroll around.

The cop showed up and he calls several wildlife rescue service but the nearest one that handles lizards is 45 minutes away. I suggest that I open the gate to where I keep my racecar trailer and he herd him in there...

You can see his tail under the cops arm..

So he gets in there and I don't know if there is a hole in the fence big enough for him to get out. I run around to the backyard to see if he is getting out. I can't find him!!!

He got out or he is under the shed. Well 10 minutes go by and he sticks his head out...

Throw some vegetables on a gas grill and see if it crawls in...could make for an easy exotic meal in 20 minutes or so!!

There is a vet tech next door and has a big dog crate. I set it by the crack in the fence that I'm covering with a pices of ply wood...
