Bernie Madoff Working Class Hero?

Bernie didn't do it for the money, power or glory, he had all of that with his legit stock trading business. That legit business made him rich and the President of NASDQ. Bernie started out small and built the best and longest PONZI scheme business ever seen. He did it all one dollar at a time. It was because of this very fact of starting small and working his way up to billions of USD's that enabled him to learn the ropes that greed and hubris are powerful tools and avoid scrutiny because his longevity gave him credibility.

Now one has to come to the rational of why Bernie would do such a thing. It is really simple Bernie is a Jewish boy from the neighborhood. Who growing up could only look on to see the wealthy, privileged....beautiful people of the world. Those people would not give Bernie the time of day nor even acknowledge his existence. Bernie learned early in his career that greed and hubris of the rich make them susceptible to fall for schemes that are just too good to be true. For when you have money you begin to believe that it presents opportunities for profits that mere mortals just are not privy to. They forget that fortunes are built on one dollar at a time and that high flying schemes are fraught with risk comeserate with the rate of return. So Bernie played up their greed and hubris to get them to invest their monies with him. Bernie had the satisfaction of knowing he was putting one over on those wealthy, privileged...beautiful people of the world. He gave them something they will never forget him for, he hit them where it hurts the most, in their pocket book and pride. It is a point of satisfaction for Bernie the Jewish boy from the neighborhood to know that he made fools out of the wealthy and privileged.
