How metrosexual are you?

A female coworker looked me up and down today and said I'm such a metrosexual. When I asked her if that was a compliment or not, she said I clean up well so she was complementing me. Usually I wear Dockers pants, a casual shirt and a sportcoat. Today I was sporting spit-shined dress shoes, a dark blue two button suit, shirt w/o tie and a haircut which apparently qualifies me for metrosexuality. I guess every girl does go crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man. Got any metrosexual tendencies?

Should this thread be combined with the "I just mowed my lawn" thread?

She just told you you were vane. From your post, sounds like she is right. If I wore stuff like that to work, people would offer condolences, thinking I was on my way to a funeral. George

This comes from my 22 year old daughter who has dated metrosexuals and has lived in SF for 4 years. Metro sexual is Gay looking on the outside and straight on the inside.

I had no idea what it meant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metrosexual Not sure I'd take it as a compliment though?

Somethings wrong with my Google image search. I typed in "metrosexual", but it returned 7,418 pictures of David Beckham.

Even worse than metrosexuals are these pillow biters who wear t-shirts with the gothic writing across the top or one side. Gawd, I hate them. What the hell is "Affliction" anyway? Code for "I'm a catcher?"

lol! Yep, if I weren't 45 lb overweight, I could be mistaken for a gay guy. Btw, I'm in sales so suit with no tie and doing a big sales presentation meant I was underdressed.

Metrosexuals fuss with their hair and get manicures. Personally, I think they are mostly cowardly gays. They would love to spend a little time on the business end of a penis, but it's just too scary.

Yeah, metrosexuals get mani-pedis. Put "product" in their hair (probably several different products). They probably also have a "skin care" regimen. Basically, all of the crap that they peddle on the make-over shows these days. I clip my nails (no filing), and I keep my nails clean (underneath). I may even remove unsightly hairs from the nose or ears if they do that "pop up overnight" thing. I'm pretty sure I'm far from metrosexual though.

I don't even own a bottle of cologne, let alone any skin care products. LOL...i don't even use hair conditioner. Never had a manicure, and i'd slap anyone that tried to give me one in the back of the head. I need some advice. I need to STOP BUYING MY CLOTHS AT WAL-MART!!!! I will never land a decent woman unless I shave this nasty facial hair, and spend more then $5 on a haircut. The text is all wrong, and frankly, i think the 15% is about 10 times too high. LOL... This is as close in life as i've ever gotten to wearing skin care products: Last edited by m21sniper; 05-20-2009 at 12:34 AM..

Wait...that's not true. Is this a real possibility? I thought i was safe by now, if i haven't lost any by 40....hahahah What brand do you reccomend? We should launch a brand called Manditioner. We could put a cover of Milt on the label. Last edited by m21sniper; 05-19-2009 at 08:17 PM..
