I don't know about tackling ;-) the cow in the field. But do you like raw meat? I like it a lot. I have an old fashioned meat grinder, and will buy sirloin, trim off the exposed sides, and grind it. Serve mounded on a plate with a raw egg on top, surrounded by little piles of chopped onion, capers, black pepper and kosher salt, and whatever else you enjoy. Yummy.

There is BEEF in the pasture on all 4 sides of my house. I grew up in an area where a freezer in the back room with a whole side of beef was common. Needless to say I like me a good steak.

dude, if i only ate what i killed myself, i would be vegetarian. my hunting isnt that "productive". i would be the crappy vegitarian native american, if was born in a different era. hehehe. that sausage looks GREAT!
