Beautiful house. Wonder if it can be moved out of "obama land" (Chicago) to a nice area?

I don't know, that is a great setting, lots of places to ride my bike, but I bet it gets cold in the winter...

Not my choice with neighbors so close by, would seem more logical on 20 acres so one could have all the glass but still have the privacy.

yes, cold - and it is very close to the lake - so, lots of lake-effect snow

it is near some parks so that might help with the acreage issue

go to Gmaps; plug in the address in the listing & hit the Sat photo tab -- lots of tee cover -- also, see the giant house just S. of it? this is apparently a relatively downscale dwelling in that 'hood

Chicago is not really that cold (or at least not for very long) and w/ the number of trees around this house, can't be very windy right there either. No offense intended but can we man-up just a little here??? That is a really nice house!!!

Believe that calling me a wanker is "name calling?"

Hey moderator, how about the rules on name calling in the PPOT? How many others have been warned or banned for name calling?

I just said that I did not want to live in this area and would love the house in another area, say the Ozarks or the like. Weather, cold and tornados to start off with. This is where Obama came from, or just a few miles North.

Now an apology would be nice or maybe the moderators can help you with this.
