WWYD if someone calls you an idiot?
The situation:
You're in a big parking lot. You decide to park your car away from the crowd for one reason or another but next to another. You could've have parked it next to another open slot but you didn't. No rhyme or reason to it, you just decided to park it there right next to a car when there are other open slots. The driver in the car next to yours comes out, starts berating you for parking your car next to his and calls you an idiot. WWYD? Edit: I should've included an "Other" option. Please explain what you would've done if none of the choices would work for you. You'd be doing me a favor if indeed I have an anger management issue per my wife. |
Move your car a ways away and then when the other owner is out of sight, line his car with shoppnig carts.

lol!

I think you could shoot someone for that in Texas.
|

Years ago, historic races, parking in the PCA paddock. Guy directing the parking, probably thinking it would look cool, showing the years differences, directed me to park my '72S near a then new first year 996.
996 guy said to the parking guy, making sure it was loud enough for me to hear: "I don't want that old P.O.S. parking next to my new car." I moved...there's no cure for ignorance. |
On the other thread a lizard was executed for trespassing.

I would have said "What's your effing problem bud?, I KNOW I didn't ding your car, so tell me, what's your effing problem?" "Oh, I get it, it's YOUR effing parking lot, right?"
|
Park your car on the other side of the lot and hire the local football team to pick his car up and move it to where all the "other" cars are parked.
|
If it's Home Depot, I know how to operate a forklift!
|
Maybe move my car then I would call my friends with their POS pickups and have them come park.

CD55... if you parked next to him with your passenger door next to him, you could have said you were trying to protect at least one side of his fabulous machine. Then he might have stopped yelling and y'all may have become BFF. If you put your driver door next to him, he may have thought you might ding him. |
Penis..I mean Prius owners are like that..
as for the talker.. he must have felt he could take you.. saw a guy do this..even got out talking trash.. his problem..BUBBA was bigger...after a few slaps.. he tossed him back into his pickup.. me..I live in Texas = he could be armed..I could be armed as well.. so just move your car..( he may key yours) wait a bit..he's gone then key the words '' I moved my car ....across his hood (I'm kidding) Rika |
While I don't condone him calling you an idiot, I will admit that this pisses me off too. BUT I also know that it is part of the human mentality to "gather" and the same goes for cars.
Now this might work....turn around, look at the cars, smile at him and say "holy crap, I can't believe I did that cause I hate it too!" Then you wait for his reaction and if he continues being a (drum rolll please) douchenozzle, get hell ben ugly with his ass and I would bet dollars to doughnuts he's back down...example..."WTF you going to do about bub? See those camers over there, you going to kick my ass on TV? Now shut up and go get your lipstick you waste of spooge". If he smiles then all is OK and yeah, I would move my car. Of course if his car is a total POS then tell him to cram it up his cramhole or even better say "you're right I wouldn't want my nice car hit by your rustmobile" |
Or as my esteemed neighbor rcecale says....smile and calmly say "what'cha going to do about it" as nice as pie. Then when he hits you you get to sue and take his car :-)
|
Have you got pictures of the offending car and of your wife?
I would need more data to intelligently do the poll. |
