Apple TV question...

We just installed an Apple TV yesterday.

It works brilliantly BUT we can't figure out how to turn it off.

The unit itself is now very hot.

We haven't used it for a while and are not using it now.

But the status light is on, and the hardware really is very hot.

Is there some way of turning this thing off, short of unplugging it at the source?

Make sure you are seeing the menu screen and hold down the play button until it turns off.

+1

It takes about 6 seconds for it to turn off.
