bulge was 12-44 not 43
and was not a big deal in the total war kursk the other 43 bulge battle was far more important in the wars out come and on a far bigger scale neo-con's will not like it but the red's won WW2 all the USA and brits did was fringe battles N A med italy and france the bombs did very little to cut german production they destroyed citys but thats about all they did the bomber could not hit their targets as far as a factory other the the sim fuel plants late in the war production was not cut at all the germans made more stuff each year they just didnot have enuff fuel to power the stuff they made |

The Battle of Tours led by Charles Martel was indeed pivotal in defeating the Muslim expansion which certainly changed the way western Europe, and eventually the West developed in respect to its fundamental religious beliefs.

In modern times, perhaps the Sino-Japanese at the end of the Tokugawa/Qing dynastys was a begining of modern east-asian powerplays during modernization.
The Finnish Winter War certainly taught the Russians how to fight a gurrilla war also. |
