video editing
I took some videos from The Tail of the Dragon yesterday, but they are too large to email or post. What is the easiest (and cheapest) way to edit them? I'd like to lower the quality and crop out some stuff. I couldn't figure out how to do this in microsoft media, so do I need a 3rd party software?
Thanks! BK

Take a look at VirtualDub (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VirtualDub for info). Open Source works on XP not sure about Vista. Pretty simple to use.
Also look at VirtualDubMod (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VirtualDubMod). Jay
