I don't care how fast it is - that thing is a fugly-ass abomination.

HardDrive 06-14-2009 09:58 PM

She ain't pretty, but I'll bet she's fast enough to scare ya. I'd love to the know how much it weighs.

I give it thumbs up based on chutzpa.

side-pipes!

I'm sure that's a barrel of monkeys when you hit the go pedal.

Hey! That's only 20 minutes from me.

Let me know if anyone wants me to take a look at it...

Schumi 06-15-2009 07:55 AM

The rear tires almost touch in the middle.

dear lord.

It was probably a salvage 924 or a car with a blown engine.

If you were into drag racing, wouldn't you think it was fun to make a Porsche into a drag car?

GothingNC 06-15-2009 08:04 AM

As long as the road is straight......

rammstein 06-15-2009 08:40 AM

That's pretty sweet.

It's just not natural, but it's intriguing somehow.

Here, let me explain:

I like Gogar's explanation. ;) Actually tho, drag racers discovered long ago that the closer rear tires are together, the easier it is to track straight down the 1/4 mile.

"I am selling for a friend." is code for "Seller is too embarassed to admit it's his."

I've seen Vegas done in pretty much the same manner...a fun ride if 1/4 mile is your thing. The 924, being about as worthless as a Vega, is an ideal candidate...similar body styles and weight.

Precisely.
