ok, i get a feel where you "patience" level is; are you always "on time"?
the flip side of the coin. when you make plans, are you on time? i always try to be on time. if anything, it is for the sake, that my timing sometimes affects others.
my wife is having friends over for dinner, cool people. they are never ever on time. i am going southern style. fried chicken, mash potatoes +gravy, and greens. top it off with some home made biscuits for gravy sopage. with the exception of the greens, everything is better piping hot, fresh cooked. the group just called. they are running one hour behind. i am not heating up an oven or fry oil til they get here. sadly my kitchen is tiny. i cant get guest involved. simply no room. i will be downgraded to cook, while my wife keeps the guest chatty. i am practicing "patience". beer helps, but i havent cracked a bottle yet. oh, you = your (in my thread title)

Yep, I make every effort to be on time if a specific time is specified. I don't like to be kept waiting(see the patience thread) so I don't like others to be waiting for me.
And dinner sounds awesome. I like the fact that you are building in biscuit soppage. ![]() You just have to dip the biscuits in the gravy or you just ain't doin' it right. I had my Mom's roast beast this week and she sent home leftovers. I couldn't wait until lunchtime the next day.

I'm a complete ass about being on time. And, yes, I am on time 99% of the time.

I typically plan to show up a few minutes early and wait so that I am always on time.

The rule at work is...if you're late...even 1 minute...breakfast for the office...only exception is if you're knockin off a piece...some things can't be rushed

I am 99% always early, I think being late it the height of disrespect. I have been late but its typically a bad snowstorm, accident, road closures or some other major unpredictable event that would cause it.

It is is simply bad manners to be late. I am almost never late, there are very few acceptable excuses.

Early. The Japanese in me shines through. And my wife is early. So we are like double early. More often than not we have to drive around for 15 minutes to not be too early. Early is good. Ask me about sitting in airports. For me, on time is early.

When we have plans, I am on time. My wife I have nicknamed "tortuga". Unless things are really bad, then she is "caracol"...

2 kinds of people, habitually late and always on time.
I'm ALWAYS early and I bet the number of hours I have waited for people in my 50 years would be a big number.

I hate guests that are late if they are invited for dinner. If they overdo it, I quit inviting them. If I really like them otherwise, I do not start cooking until they show up and make something fast.
