Just Bought My Son An E30

Great little car. Had lots spent on it. Bilsteins, Eibach suspension. Microtech ECU. Full stainless exhaust system. The thing I'm not sure about is, the motor, gearbox and diff had have been changed to a 2000 318is Vanos/Valvtronic. Are these motors good? any help from the resident BM crew would be appreciated.

The M44 engine is a solid engine. Just keep the oil changed and prepare to pull the head about every 80-100k due to the failure of the profile gasket.

Yep, first car. Have to go to Sydney to pick it up. I'm in Adelaide. We'll fly over next week and stick it on truck.

Thank you. The body style is so too original. Again, thanks for sharing.

I hope you got a good deal, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

(Beautiful car, by the way!)

That's okay, he's handy with a "spanner", easy changeout..
