It's a small pillow filled with styrofoam beads.

Funny thread.

We have a folded blanket thingy across the foot of the bed and a regular bedspread that weighs a ton and we have six or so extra pillows. Every night I flip (with attitude) the blanket thingy onto my wife's side of the bed and then flip the bedspread onto her side and then make a comment about how pre-marriage all I used was a bottom sheet and a comforter and those were good times, etc. I then throw a couple pillows to the floor and a couple more on her side, again with attitude. I think the proper term for me is "petulant."

Similar. Three large decorative pillows, two for actually sleeping on. The large ones are useful if sitting up in bed, I guess. I like to stack them on the sleeping cats.

Now that's funny.:D

2 pillows on our bed.

2 for me, 2 for her and 1 to put under her rear-end for proper prop-age...

I think a Mogu pillow is one that you ride goofy foot, but I will have to refer to the other thread to be certain.

awesome.

i have four. zero decorative pillows..but i feel there will be some in my near future. i use two beat down feather pillows. i took a chance and tossed them thru the wash. they came out great! no need to toss them, now.

Here ya go.

You don't know "goofy foot"?? Right foot forward on the surfboard, snowboard or skateboard.
It's goofy because the majority ride left forward steering with the right.

RWebb 06-16-2009 10:33 AM

ride goofy foot is a board-head expression

refers to - ah - mounting a snowboard with the "other" foot leading

I think we can all conjure up an adequate mental image of how that fits into a discussion of women, beds, and pillows....

No experience with any of the above.

legion 06-16-2009 11:36 AM

I always thought goofy foot was skating with your toes pointed inwards instead of outwards.

At some point it changed to skating with your right foot forward--which any skater should be able to do.

Well, for people who are right footed, it's very awkward. Think of switching your gas and brake pedal around.

I have no idea what it's like to ride the bedroom goofy foot. :p

Sheila on top?

red-beard 06-16-2009 01:21 PM

4 are on the bed at any time, but which 4....2 decoratives are replaced with 2 extra regular pillows at night.

1st wife, was into collecting Garfields of all kinds. She would PILE the bed with stuffed Garfields after making it. And I mean pile. She had 30-40 of the damn things!

I'm glad I don't have a picture to post!

My wife and I were a dinner gathering with several other couples several years ago and this subject came up, and it was batted around for a minute or so... it ended with one of the women saying, "You can never have too many pillows."

:D

Hey... for us guys, it's tools and stuff.

But at least you don't have to move 'em to get in the bed.

So I think we win.
