Fathers Day Oh Yea !

I am camping with my kids (2 girls) this weekend in the camper just us, wife has a function at home. Should be great ,high mountain lake with plenty of garter snakes and crawdads for the kids and rainbow trout and Coors lights for me. We hit this place every year as a family. It's heaven, a break for the wife as well this time.

Happy Fathers day to you Dads!

I'm taking my dad to the autocross. Told him I would pay his fee if he wants to drive.

My fathers going to our cabin in Maine for 2 weeks and I am joining him there next week. Got him a bottle of 10 yr Cask Strength Laphroaig. Mislabeled and tagged as regular strength so I got a deal. Had to get one for myself as well naturally.

I normally drink neat, but Cask Strength has me adding a bit of water. Its got some depth.

+1, the 10 year old I drink neat all the time, but that cask strength is a mighty scotch!

MT930, where is that place? Looks idyllic!

Don't forget a cooler with lots of water and some sunscreen.

Oh ya, I forgot you are an Eagle Scout, you will be prepared. It will be a HOT time at the track. See you there.

I drink it neat also. I used to add a few drops of water to the cask strength but dont anymore. It is strong and can be a bit harsh on an empty stomach but after dinner I find it drinks fine neat and tastes oh so good. $36 a bottle so I was pretty pumped.

We'll be spending Father's Day on the road, i.e., the annual roadtrip. Last year I remember driving around Flathead Lake in Montana getting updates from my dad on the Tiger/Rocco duel. This year, who knows.

Started out with my wife's version of huevos rancheros.

We'll be leaving for a drive in the Porsche in just a bit. Grilling late this afternoon. Happy Father's Day!
