New spoon
I purchased a used Savage 93 .17 HMR with a cheapo BSA sweet 17 scope, and a rubber stock on it last week from a local dealer. Yesterday I took it out in the field for a shake down. Popped 4 ground hogs in about two hours all of which were shots of over 100 yds. All were deader than Moses with one shot! This thing is cheap to shoot and crazy accurate. More fun than a room full of strippers, and under $300. I highly recommend this for all my shooting pals here.

.17 has great flight characteristics...in other words, a good shape for flying.

It's a little tiny bullet. Actually smaller than a .177 pellet. It's like .172. 17 grain bullet.
