Farrah Fawcett dies at 62

'Charlie's Angel' Farrah Fawcett dies at 62 AP Photo LOS ANGELES (AP) - Farrah Fawcett, whose stunning looks and blinding smile made her a pop icon of the 1970s, has died. She was 62. Her spokesman, Paul Bloch, says Fawcett died Thursday morning in a Santa Monica hospital. Her 2 1/2-year battle with cancer was depicted in the TV documentary "Farrah's Story."

Damn...my daughter gave me a CD set of "Charlie's Angels" shows...watching them will never be the same now. I also have "the" poster in my garage.

For kids of my generation she was the "All American Girl". Now as an adult - I look at those old photos and realize how young and truly beautiful she was.. A good run. Rest In Peace.
