), you've struck the magic twanger, Froggie (Buster Brown - but what would you know 'bout Buster Brown, child? ). I date back to the days when sports car drivers waved at one another hiearchically: Bug eyed Sprites waved first to Triumphs, Triumphs waved first to Healeys, Healeys waved first to XK 120s, and on up the hiearchy of marks (no one waved at Sunbeam Alpines ) and a "sports car" was a roadster with, at best, a pain in the ass folding top and side curtains with sliding Perspex window panels which fogged into semi-translucence 6 months after buying the car). But, alas, advancing age and the predominant application of practical aerodynamics has brought me to the realization that a true sports car, hitherto recently considered a "Grand Touring" automobile if it had a fixed top, is not complete without a top (I SAY! ).That beast which you have pictured...lays me low. Wouldst that I could be so blessed as to have her in my posession, to have my way with her, to...Oh, now I am sooo embarrased!
