No More RL for 928ww
 

No more of this guys . We're not a Rennlist Sponsor any longer.
I can think of some other ways to help the 928 community with my $200 a month. I digress, Thank you guys... see you around.

I almost wish I could get my membership $ back from RL! I think I will be viviting Pelican more often!!!!!!!!!

I got mine back just after they Banned me. Request it. I still can't see why you would pay for having to be like them. I very surprised a certain member here actually payed their membership, but to each it own. It's always the same dumasses that will attack you over there. Too bad also, lot's of great guys with super knowledge of the 928's.

$200.00 a month? Jesus, i had no idea they were extorting people to that huge of a tune.

Well you saw what he got. A lot of headache and heartache. Regular users just looking to play Mod and throw out rules. It's a lame environment "period."

What really broke the camels back was the proclamation that we'll beat any price for used 928 items.

Not true Sparky. They will not let up (Mods) since Mason sells stuff. They will always bother him about it. Case in Point. I didn't even sell anything and they (normal members) told me to pay as a Sponsor. My site Porsche928Forums.com is "Information Only" and NOT selling anything. A certain Mod got all dumass on me after John gave me the ok, then both of them went postal on me. I think Mason will do just fine without them. His eBay Store thrives and Bannlist is too critical on everything. I also didn't know being a Sponsor there was $200 bones. What a Rip!

When I first picked up my 928, when I began my online search for info I came across Pelican first, then eventually found Rennlist. Pelican was extremely quiet back then, and it might be days before you got a reply to a post. It sure is great to see it flourishing with new users these days.

How is that a problem? A paid vendor of a niche auto site offering stuff for sale in a sales like manner to fellow enthusiasts? Seriously, I don't understand that and am not about to go there and try to figure that out.

Well I'm a regular lurker at 928 Section at RL since i need more info about 928 before purchasing one in the future.

Sorry to hear you were run-off RL, Mason.

Pelican is also a great site with a really good core group of participants.

I would suggest that you immediately contact the site owner, Wayne, and identify yourself and business. Then become well versed on what you are allowed and not allowed to do here in regards to advertising and promoting your business. You know as well as I do, that the moment you start promoting your business here, your detractors (who don't even participate here except to stir poo) will be 'throwing you under the bus'. For evidence of that, just look at how many times this topic has been viewed..it's pretty clear to me that you have some folks watching and waiting for you to break a site rule.

Wayne tends to run a tight ship around here and is able to minimize the drama by doing so. This is HIS business and you need to show the utmost respect regarding that if you want to be welcome here.

As always, I wish you the very best and am thankful as a 928 owner we have you out there. I still think you should also venture into the 944 business though :cool:
