Just couldn't resist. First time ever I bought anything virtually on the spot after 2 rides.

A proper pic. A little over excited. Humor me, please.

In my opinion, the Streetfighter is the bastage child of the the 1198 and the S4R Monster....naked, trellis framed, single-sided swingarmed, liquid cooled 4-valve V-twin that scares small children and causes young women to ovulate.

About right!

It's really an 1198 without fairings. Rake is more relaxed and frame a bit longer, but same powerplant. Brakes about as good, which means they're great.

This S version has traction control which is pretty slick-- 8 settings. But the most incredible thing about the bike is the suspension. The Ohlins front/rear are really remarkable.

Nice - now all you need to do is get a fender eliminator kit to clean up the tail end.

Same thought I had. I went with the Competition Werks one for my Monster. Not my bike, but looks just like mine:
