What about Pelican stickers?

What about some Pelican stickers?

That other website sends stickers to you when you join, and it is a cool idea- if you see a sticker on someone's Porsche you can stop and chat with them in person, since you've probably chatted with them online.

That pelican with the wrench? My girlfriend thinks that is adorable! The one in the water is cool too. Both would look good on the car, and on my other cars.

Good advertisement for Wayne's business, too. I've referred two people to this place, and one of them, my neighbor, bought a bunch of parts for his '87 635CSI last year. Stickers cost money, but I'd be willing for fork over a couple of $ for a few.

Any interest?

N!

Yep, you get at least one when you buy from Pelican.
(I have received more than one with some of my orders.)

You could buy a grill badge and help out a good charity.

I was actually looking forward to a sticker when I ordered some parts. No stickers, but I did get some yummy jelly beans.

I guess I have to order more parts

This has been brought up a number of times. We've even tried to come up with graphic ideas. IT builds up steam, then dies down. I thought I remember Wayne mentioning that he was working on something.

The stickers that came from Pelican are not good for cars. They fall apart very quickly from the sun. number of us have already tried.

I have a number of the Pelican stickers but they are too ugly to put on my car - no offense to Wayne in his beaked persona, but the leering Pelican isn't exactly a model of understated style. I bought the grille badge instead, it is smaller and less conspicuous.

I cut out a Pelican sticker and stuck it on the left side of my rear Targa window, it lasted maybe a month before it faded/washed off. I'd put a small durable one about the size of the Pelican in Wayne's sticker if one were available.

I had a hard time getting Kinkos to print only a hand full of these. I ended up with 5 for me (Islandflyer) and 5 for Mark (equality72521). If people are please with the blank one I posted above, that could be a good start point. we had it cut round and about 3 inches in dia.

I cut this one out and put it on my window way back in 2003. Must have used better adhesive back then as it is still well adhered.

Here's what's on my rear window. I may be removing it soon so I can advertise my own website/ business though. I have a couple of the new Pelican's with a 911's tail. I would like something smaller than what I have now but with teh same information. I may just do one myself now that I have a vinyl cutter.
