I envy you guys. You should have some tables and chairs under those trees, have some BBQ, and get all of us there to mess the place up for you

Back yard grad party...just starting. That's me on the far left firing up one of the BBQ's. Looking back towards the creek....That's Gary Ellis Jr (Great BMX'er retired) with his hands in his pockets. Down by one of the fire pits down by the creek looking back up. Backyards and BBQ's, that's what it's all about around my house. Horseshoe pits go in this weekend by the gazebo.....I hope!!!

Here's our backyard. Nothing fancy. It's about an acre of woods. And often infested with children.

6 x 10 jack rafters, 8 x 10 hip on a 30 degree angle which makes for 2 different roof pitches and different rafter spacing on opposites. If was a good exercise in carpentry. The rafters are covered in both directions with 2 x 3 rough fir. On top of those are smoke Lexan panels. To the left of the fan and against the house wall, the whole roof articulates like a 20 foot long opening skylight to let summer heat out. The rolled shades deploy during the summer to block out direct sunlight. I built the room for the cat. | ||

"Yard" behind the hangar with Pelican Cgarr taxiing up for a visit. From the far end looking back towards the hangar and house. Cant find a "summer" pic of the yard behind the house as I spend most of my free time in the hangar.
