Morning Rick, morning Dave,

I'm working hard to counter the work I neglected for the last few weeks....
I wish I could hang out some more...

Rick V 10-07-2009 12:17 AM

OMG I saw them do that live. I had ear plugs in and my ears still rang for a few days. :)

slodave 10-07-2009 12:19 AM

My day was full of fun. My Linux server that runs my house, decided to start failing about a month ago. Last night Skype went out on me. Pulled the plug today and found that the hard drive that I thought was failing, actually was fine. The motherboard failed. It caused the hard drive to click. Weird, never came across that before. Oh, most of Linux was still running from RAM. Damn fine OS.

Two spare computers decided to misbehave, so I was forced to use my water cooled desktop. Stuck the Linux drives in and all is well... The water pump failed, soooo the CPU is getting hot. Solved that for the night by 12" fan.

At least everything is working again. Then I went to a client at 9.

Rick V 10-07-2009 12:21 AM

Yikes

slodave 10-07-2009 12:26 AM

Too bad I'm not my own client. The day would have paid really well.

Rick V 10-07-2009 12:31 AM

Morning. Hopefully I will sell my Jeep today, but I am really on the fence as far as what car I should replace it with.

slodave 10-07-2009 02:19 AM

Gt3... Whew! That was easy.

Rick V 10-07-2009 02:35 AM

Dude, Markus is a Dr. he needs a better car than that. GT3RS

Rick V 10-07-2009 02:36 AM

svandamme 10-07-2009 03:29 AM

Has Marcus written all over it...

svandamme 10-07-2009 04:08 AM

He might even redline that thing, it's just going to be crazy time in Sweden !

livi 10-07-2009 04:38 AM

Excellent advice! :D

I am actually looking at a real budget car, but still not too boring to drive. Needs to seat four passengers (children). Presently contemplating BMW 318-20 or 520 around 98-01 model year. Any big no-no´s?

Geronimo '74 10-07-2009 05:08 AM

Budget, not boring (onlookers will have a good laugh when they see you...), FOUR people.

Look no further.

Who's your TATA?....

Rick V 10-07-2009 07:50 AM

WTF is that thing? I would install a belly deck and use it as the lawn mower it is

Geronimo '74 10-07-2009 08:31 AM

Tata Nano, cheapest car in the world, made in India.
