Eh, never cared for the 964.
|
Ditto
|
And I can't stand the friggen' rims!
|
I wouldn't want the car but the engine would be cool in a long hood
|
The turbo variant doesn't look so bad...
Yeah the engine would be nice 3.6/3.8 Woot! |
I don't dislike a nice 964. I've never driven one. But they look nice, just a modern version of 3.2. And I guess the RS92 is a blast to drive around a track.
I wouldn't buy one though, I'd go straight for a 993. |
996 prices are close to 964 prices, Yanno where I would go
|
I love the 964 and the RS is one of my top five dream rides. Unattainable of course..
|
996 is not my thing, I prefer the 964, at least it looks like a 911..
Rick, will a 964 speedometer fit and work in a 3.2??? I know one for sale (scale up to 300 km/h) for 300 euro. |
It would have to be re-calibrated.
|
But connections are identical?
How hard is the recalibrating?? |
I didn't say anything about connections, just said it would need to be recalibrated. I really don't know, but whenever people talk about putting in different spedo's, they are always recalibrated.

What Dave said.
I think I am going to trade my drivers license in for a hunting license, I ran over another deer this morning. That is 3 in a months time. Yikes. Peggy (my truck) is just brutal to the wildlife |
You do bring the deer home for chops right?
i'm up 3 pheasants and 2 rabbits in the last 2 months. |
Dude, when Peggy runs over a deer there isn't anything left but deer mash
Birds and small game arn't even worth mentioning. |
EDIT.. /03 is no use, it's an SC block.
|
