I have that prototype bucket seat from a few pages back that also goes in soon. Looking at a 5 pt. harness right now.

Engine and tranny mounts or suspension mounts? I thought about stiff engine mounts but I don't wan't the noise and vibration...

slodave 08-04-2011 12:25 AM

Yeah, and the Hoosiers are not helping right now. Too sticky, causing my car to roll badly, costing me time. :D

vas930 08-04-2011 12:25 AM

Hey G, are you doing the engine yourself.

Engine/tranny. Not much vibration to report. Noise, I have a Targa... :D I've learned to block most external noises.

Dave, when I come to the US next year ,I want to come to one of these AX events.
We have track days here, but this sounds like something fun.

They are fun. At least, I think so. Not all out fast like the big tracks, but good for learning car control that helps in everyday driving and the competition side of it. :)

Dunno, he's been thinking about Miata's a lot lately... Maybe that has something to do with it?
