Good morning guys.

There was water falling from the sky again today. It has rained every day since I got back from Savannah. I am NOT complaining!, I am taking all the credit. :D
I figure I brought the rain back with me.

We are still in a big drought. We will take all the rain we can get.

We really are hoping a hurricane will smack Texas and come on in to Oklahoma and stall out and rain hard for a few days.

Glen, you are currently the number one poster in the number one thread.

If our ranking stays the same, and this thread moves up one place, I'll be the top dog of OT!

:D

We have some dull weather here that I'd gladly send your way...

GH85Carrera 08-11-2011 04:41 AM

So I guess that means I have the most post in the top thread right now. :)

I was not even trying for that great honor.

Please do!

Yesterday evening at 8:00 PM I was out in the yard killing weeds and check on the sprinkler system. I remember thinking "it's really comfortable here right now" so I whipped out my iPhone to see what the official temp was. It was 94! and that felt "nice." Savannah was brutal hot. No joke the 102 degree heat here felt way better than the heat and humidity of Savannah.

.

And a little while later on September 22nd, I will have my 11th birthday on PP, how about that? I'm almost as old as the Random Pic thread....
And I'll be in Scottsville Virginia on that very birthday :), getting up early and leaving for Richmond Airport...

Geronimo '74 08-11-2011 04:53 AM

94 degrees over here and you would drown in your own sweat....
The climate over here is not dry enough to support those kind of temperatures.

Hey, I hope you remember Mrs Carrera's birthday better than this...;)

This thread was started in 2009, so we missed it's second B-day...

That's a whopping 12.5K posts a year. Over a thousand posts a month!

GH85Carrera 08-11-2011 05:11 AM

Wow I swear it said 2008 just a few minutes ago. I bet the CIA, FBI & aliens from outer space got together and changed it while I was not looking. All of you must be in on the conspiracy. The only other possibility is I made a mistake. I thought I made a mistake once before but I was wrong. ;)

The wife's birthday is three days before mine, pretty tough to forget. :D

Geronimo '74 08-11-2011 05:16 AM

To be honest, I would say it has been longer than only two years too.
So perhaps it is the men in black trying to pull a fast one on us...

Porsche-poor 08-11-2011 05:59 AM

good morning all!

RKDinOKC 08-11-2011 06:04 AM

I don't know about you bringing the rain Glen...I replaced the motor on my traveling sprinkler last night and it has basically been raining ever since.

GH85Carrera 08-11-2011 06:19 AM

I had to prime the pump on the rain machine. So I brought the rain. Your sprinkler motor might help but it was me bringing the rain back that started it all.

You can't disprove that :)

Morning guys....

I shoot a spoon that would make rico proud last night. 1911 Colt Government model. I'm in love...

GH85Carrera 08-11-2011 01:23 PM

Good afternoon.

We have been laughing at some of the STUPID question on the forms our insurance company sent us. The winner of the dumb question so far is: Occupation of Pilot? We thought we might put Astronaut or maybe Ninja Assen or Stud.

Geronimo '74 08-11-2011 01:48 PM

Lol, and on that bombshell it's goodnight and see you guys tomorrow.

Very nice piece, I sold mine many many moons ago to buy diapers or something along those lines ( as well as some guitars I would almost kill to have back)

I wish I had more time, I'd do a tour de Pelicans.
It would be great to have a big get together one day.

Hope you're not mixing the Irish whiskey with coke.... (unless it's the powder version of coke... :D)

What did that ulcer think of the Talisker?? I'm curious, didn't it burn??

Morning dudes (and absent dudette)!

Seems things are healed up fairly well, no problems.

Geronimo '74 08-11-2011 07:54 PM
