I thought the picture was mirrored for some reason.
Surely, by now everybody is driving on the right side of the road, no?

Morning Glen,

My iPhone last 4, 5 days easy if I don't play with it too much. But I'm always browsing the net so 2 , 3 days max....

The hard reset did work, I think...

Yea, it is hard to leave my phone alone sometimes. It has so many useful apps and functions. Besides Taptalk & email I often check the radar. One of the most useful apps for the real world is Weather Radio. It shows the thunderstorm and your location. It was great on my vacation to be able to see where the storms were and not have to rely on some bimbo "weather girl" to read what the national weather service has typed. We are spoiled with weather coverage in Oklahoma. The TV station we watch here for news and weather has over a dozen real meteorologists at just one TV station! People with a college degree in weather. The TV stations have the state of the art weather radar systems and help develop the next generation of radar.

Stijn!!

I am dealing with a customer that wants me to search the available aerials from before the 1960s. I sent a email to the national archives in Washington DC and the email I got back was that all requests must be either faxed or mailed to them. I wanted to ask them if it was 2011 there or still the 1980s. At least I don't have to write it out cursive with a fountain pen and have it delivered by pony express.

Porsche-poor 08-18-2011 08:32 AM

old school. better send it in threes.

porsche4life 08-18-2011 08:36 AM

porsche4life 08-18-2011 10:25 AM

Mine starts at noon tomorrow.....

Going to Lawton tomorrow night to help chaillie get her new apartment ready for school, and then not sure what I'm doing the rest of the weekend...

Porsche-poor 08-18-2011 10:31 AM

who is the lucky lady?

Geronimo '74 08-18-2011 10:45 AM

My weekend will consist of bringing the company car to the shop to have the passengerside mirror replaced. A guy driving over a plank on the highway before me.... Launched the plank in the air, he was driving about 300 feet in front of me... I was gaining on him rapidly I guess... The plank never touched ground before it knocked my mirror clean off...

I'l be bringing some stuff to my mechanic so he can start assembling on my damn engine...

Some running will occur. Going for ten miles on Saturday.

Saturday night, I go hunting. (Hey, what did you expect?)

Sunday, dunno yet, I'm going to try not to get too drunk the night before so I can actually do some stuff on Sunday....

:D

Porsche-poor 08-18-2011 10:47 AM

Ok looks like we will have to make a punch list for Monday and see where you stand or not standing if to much has been drunk.

GH85Carrera 08-18-2011 10:49 AM

My weekend starts tomorrow afternoon. My plans are a quick trip to Enid, to play tech support for the MIL. Her wireless router needs to be restarted. So I drive up there, restart her cable modem and router and get her iPad online, eat lunch and drive home.

Sunday is the autocross. It will be a hot sucker, but after Savannah no big deal. Our track is a lot of fun.

Sidney are you ever going to autocross again or have you retired? As I remember it was very COLD the last time you came to the autocross.

I really shouldn't drink too much... But If I'm having fun, I sometimes get carried away.... (ain't that the truth... :D)

Just bought my very lightweight starter motor from Fennlane Motorsports in the UK. 245 GBP and it only weighs 2.5 kilo!! In your face, Bosch! :)

Geronimo '74 08-18-2011 10:59 AM

No, I will be out again in September. Its been so hectic around here lately, I would like to have a day to relax. If I came to autocross, it would be weekend 3 on the road.

And my brakes are still for ****.
