Well Beth is still in bed so she didn't get in my way, the kitties left me alone while I was in the shower so that was good. I hope the rest of my day goes this smooth.

Man my math skills are rusty. I have had to figure out some unusual problems. The big ass print job from last month is back. The full size print is 144 inches tall. They want a version that will fit on their conference table. The table is only 91.5 inches. So I had to reduce the print from 144x60 to 91.5x38 which is easy. The problem is the scale of the map becomes different. It is 1"=100' when it is 144 inches tall. When reduced it is just 1"=157'. Again easy math. The head scratching came when the inset images are addressed. Some of those are 1"=50' and some are 1"=30'. OK they are reduced the same amount as the overall image so what is the scale of the inset images. 1"=50' becomes 1"=78.5 and 1"=30' becomes 1"=47.1'. Now how to figure out to change everything and keep the exact same layout.

Stijn!!
Where is everyone?
After dinner tonight I mowed & edged the yard. I did not get done until 45 minutes after sunset. I had all the back yard lights on. Fortunately a genius like, good looking, very modest, wonderful husband, smart guy added a lot of lights in the back yard. |
