chase? there is no chase! there is only conquer, young Jedi.
I'm in a dilemma about which one to conquer first... Although scheduling is quickly making my mind up for me.
What's the dilemma.... Threesome!
I say alphebetically.
Or weight, in ascending order!! so, change of topic: Plumbers, what's up with those guys?! the fawcet in our kitchen that was new 2 years ago came loose and all of my attempts to tighten it were in vain. So I order a special locking thingy and can see quickly I am not going to be able to install this myself. I call the plumber and he sends up a guy. He arrives here at 8:05, quickly realises that the part I ordered is not going to go in there but he gets a pair of pliers up in there and tightens it to the point where he says it won't loosen up again. he leaves at 8:35. I'm thinking this is going to be stupid expensive (everything in Norway is) for just tightening an oversised nut under my sink, but if it holds then fine. Then the bill comes yesterday. he charged me for 1.5 hours!! WTF? so I call the company and the manager starts trying to rationalise it, saying that the time he uses to get the parts he needed (WHAT PARTS?), get out of their building, drive up here (ITS 5 MINUTES) and the traffic (WHAT? WE LIVE IN A TOWN WITH 8,000 PEOPLE THERE'S NO TRAFFIC!), Walk from his truck to my house (OH, YEAH, THERE'S 15SECS THERE!), then of course drive back to their shop (WITH ALL THAT TRAFFIC) go back into the office, do the paperwork, probably have a coffee and a $hit and I'm supposed to pay for all that. Even still, how can all that take 1.5 HOURS?!? Way to f'in loose a potential customer, *********. |
Morning......
Morning Rick! Cheer up!
Was I un-cheerie? I mean more so than usual?
Yes, you sounded like you had a bowl of "not so cheerios" this morning.
Or like someone spat in your coffee ( now that would piss me off for sure) Morning Rico! |
Hang an oyster in my coffee and I'll have a foot in your back side. :)

I have just recovered from the last night shift. As far as I know they are all still alive. Oddly enough the sun is shining today. Time to wake up the old 911 for a "spirited" drive in the country side. Yes, Dave, I will doing about 45 mph max..
Turboo - yer Dad in the merchant marine? lots of Norwegian sailers found a good port over there.
Give it some stick, Livi! Todays' happy tale: This is going to PPI this morning (US Eastern time): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258714500.jpg |

How is that thing on speed bumps? I've been wondering about that as I have 9 of them (big muvva's too) to get from here down-town, basically anywhere, from my house.
