He did not say what of pro. Maybe it is time for hookers & blow.
|
i doubt those would be helpfull in fixing my garage...
|
..depends on what you are fixing to do, in your garage..
|
I would much rather had spent the $1000 extra I was charged for the clutch job on that hooker that showed up at the 928 parking lot party a week ago Saturday Night. But, I did have fun anyway.
|
hookers & 928's costing money to fix.. i hear it's not to uncommon.

Lookie what just arrived!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1321301437.jpg The trailer with the engine hoist & engine stand is just behind the crate. Next step, un-crate it! |
4 big lag bolts and the top of the crate lifts off. Open a plactic bag, lift a piece of cardboard and viola one 350 crate engine. Ther is a slight wiff oil motor oil.

She sure is purdy....

So when does the swap start?
|
This coming weekend!
I will spend some time Saturday doing the initial clean up of the old engine just to get rid of some of the excess dirt and grease. I will take a few zillion photos to show me where things go back together. Then start with draining out the old oil and start on the peripherals like the radiator, and water pump and other stuff. The exhaust system, hoses, intake and so on. With some luck on Sunday I can get the old engine out and on the floor & have the new engine on the engine stand. During the week I will do the little things and since I have the day off after Thanksgiving I will have a three day weekend to get it back into place and running. That is the plan. It will be interesting to see how that works out. |
Damn, you don't waste any time....
Well, if you need any help let me know. |
Put a blower on it !
Do it now ! |
I tried to get him to put in an LT1, but he would here none of it....
