I have not had any issues with the forum speed since Sunday morning. I thought some of the Cal Poly servers may had gotten wet. Now all of a sudden the forum was down. It was scary. I do not even know what a Fast CGI is.

PP (forums) has been having problems for a couple weeks now.

vas930 11-26-2011 10:18 PM

Well, something went down.

Not for me, until now.

Flieger 11-26-2011 10:24 PM

I was clicking the refresh button over and over just like Dave said. I kept hoping that it would only be a couple more seconds before everything would be back to normal.

There's a two page thread on it. ;)

Flieger 11-26-2011 10:30 PM

Yeah, I did not bother reading it 'cause nothing seemed slow to me.

I had to test out the x-ray machines for the new computers I was installing at the dental office tonight.

This is a part of the inside of a Dell mouse.

cool stuff

inside of a computer?
inside of an x-ray machine?

slodave 11-26-2011 11:11 PM

The x-ray guns are mounted on arms that swing into two rooms each. I there's no way to get them together. They are also in a pretty heavy metal casing. I'm not sure that the guns have enough power to go through it. The images I took were on a low setting for children and you can bump it up, but not enough I think. :D

I was thinking about hitting my iPhone, but I really didn't want to take a chance - even though it's gone through several x-ray machines at airports and court houses.

Cool pic, Dave.

Morning guys. Now Vas that is what I like to see before I have had any coffee. :) Good timing

slodave 11-26-2011 11:34 PM

Even though I would like to get out of computers and into woodworking, I still do have fun at times. I don't have a set schedule, which I like, so I don't mind working on the occasional weekend or holiday weekend. This coming week will be my weekend. I just need to be on call Monday for the Dentist and I do have a issue from last Wed. that still open and will hopefully be resolved Monday. I get to wear what I want and other than emergencies, I try to schedule appointments for the afternoon, so I can sleep in. :D

I think more business would make it more enjoyable. It's a word of mouth industry.

slodave 11-26-2011 11:35 PM

Morning, Rick. Early again.

livi 11-26-2011 11:36 PM

Good morning, gentlemen!

Rick V 11-26-2011 11:40 PM
